An alternative to your classic pesto, replacing pine nuts with pumpkin seeds for an extra earthy flavour. You can also add parmesan cheese to this mix but I didn’t because I find it lasts longer in the fridge.

Banana Bread with Cream Cheese Icing

I feel like I could pick my mum's banana bread out of a lineup, but I couldn’t tell you why. It’s one of those things we’ve all watched someone make, everyone with their own tweak or special addition. I piped the icing on because I felt like being fancy but you can just lather it on thick with a spatula or you can be fancy too.
