Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pies
I made these for a new mum because, once cooked, they can be frozen and reheated for an easy lunch or dinner. These require individual pie tins, but you can also use a large tart tin to make a family-sized pie instead!

Pumpkin Seed Pesto
An alternative to your classic pesto, replacing pine nuts with pumpkin seeds for an extra earthy flavour. You can also add parmesan cheese to this mix but I didn’t because I find it lasts longer in the fridge.
Banana Bread with Cream Cheese Icing
I feel like I could pick my mum's banana bread out of a lineup, but I couldn’t tell you why. It’s one of those things we’ve all watched someone make, everyone with their own tweak or special addition. I piped the icing on because I felt like being fancy but you can just lather it on thick with a spatula or you can be fancy too.
